A Working Definition of "Magick":
For us to have useful dicussions on the study and utilization of Magick,
it would be quite helpful for us to have a common working definition.
As a starting point:
Magick is the craft of changing reality through extraordinary means.
The word "extraordinary" does a lot of work here, offering the idea that this
is not the mundane, everyday sort of method for dealing with reality.
At the same time it does not exclude various ideas for the mechanics of
how magick actually works, which I currently believe should be a seperate
idea from the definition of what it is.
